Let's give consideration to ways to be eco-friendly for the holiday this season. Everyone is atempting to get on the band wagon of going green. Not only is it very good for the economy but it is also perfect for the pocket book. In these years of economic downturn and this eco mind set let's take a look at various ways to be friendly and save money. Buy a live tree or possibly a artificial Christmas tree. Live trees can be planted and appreciated for years. If you don't have a yard for planting one then get an artificial one you can use each year. If you put up Christmas lights purchase led lights if you can afford it. If not, then be sure to have your lights on a timer and only run them from sunset until you go to bed. No need lighting up the darkness when no one is out to get pleasure from them. Wrap your gifts it recycled paper and decorate gifts with previously used ribbon and sparkles. You can also do what we have done for years, and wrap your presents in handmade fabric bags that can used year after year. The disadvantage of these bags is that they are easy to open so someone might possibly peek if they truly wanted to. Choose greeting card printed on recycled paper. You could very well even not bother with the post office this year and send e-card in its place. Avoid the shopping at malls this year. Spending hours trying hard to find the perfect gift wastes tremendous amounts of time and money. You can go shopping online and still buy from local companies as well. Think about products that you trust they will use, need and enjoy. Everyone enjoys yummy food and everyone needs to eat so think about giving a Colorado food gift. Now take this just a bit further and take a look at a gourmet food gift that comes in an Earth-friendly recycled reusable shopping bag. Spring Eco Friendly Gift Spring Eco Friendly Gift filled with Colorado treats. Harvest Time 2011
Now that we are half way through the summer months, we start to look forward to the fall. With the changing of the leaves, the chilling of the air, and the shortening of the days, we are reminded of the coming of winter and the end of a new year. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Autumn itself has many of its own merits. For thousands of years, autumn has been the time of year to celebrate the harvest and the gift of food. representations such as pumpkins, gourds, and brightly colored leaves are traditional in the United States as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day and Halloween. As the days get shorter and cooler, we draw our attention from the bleakness of the season and distract ourselves with celebrations of friends, family and food, reflecting on the things we're thankful for. Wouldn't it be nice to show up to Thanksgiving Dinner this year with a little something more than the conventional salad or loaf of bread to share? Or how would you like to surprise your distant relatives with a seasonal treat that says "I'm thinking of you and I'm thankful to have you in my life." Baskets By Rita has the perfect gift to share around the table or to send to those valued business partners you love in this time of thanks. A spooktacular way to say Happy Halloween with our Halloween gift basket filled with loads of sweet and savory goodies. We have included familiar candy bars, popcorn and snacks to make a great basket full of Halloween goodies for you to gift. This unique gift basket is a cool way for you to bring the gift of quality food to your family and friends now matter how near or far away! As the summer sun fades making way for the crisp, cool air of fall, remember those you are thankful for in your life and give them their own little part of the fall harvest! Thanks A Bunch
It would appear as if the custom of giving thanks has become obsolete over time. Mailing a hand written thank you note was at one time traditional for both personal and business situations, but now many people assume it's enough to nonchalantly whip up an email with a prompt thanks before retreating to their active every day lives. Now don't misunderstand me. I understand that the world is much more fast paced than it once was and many people barely have time to relax and catch their breath, but thinking about it, that only gives you that much more reason to send a heart felt thank you. Since we've become less accustomed to receiving a suitable thank you, it makes a much greater impression when we do get one. It truly is a nice surprise to see that someone bothered to say thanks. I haven't even mentioned the effect it can make on your business. In taking the time to send a personalized thank you, you may express to your customer how important their business is to you. By developing personal relationships with your clients, you are guaranteeing their loyalty and giving them a reason to do business with you instead of your competitors. If I haven't managed to convinced you that sending a thank you gift or note is worth the time it takes, why don't you consider sending something that takes little to no time at all? Sending flowers or a gift basket from an online store takes about as long as sending an email, but sends a much better impression. Gift like Thank You Gift Basket Here's a thank you gift basket that will bring smiles to anyone you send it to. A red faux leather and sea grass basket will make a great impression. Say thanks for all you do when you send this useful high quality basket filled with great tasting goodies. We add our Colorado medley snack mix, Boulder chips, Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies, caramel corn, thank you shortbread cookies, chocolate bar, Lara fruit and nut bar, and Ghirardelli chocolate squares to this basket. This appreciation gift basket is perfect any time you want to say thanks. Forget all excuses and exercise some good old fashioned courtesy the next time you have the opportunity to say thank you. Baskets By Rita is one online business that has a good assortment of gift baskets for any occasion. (Insert database). Thanks for listening! A Little Support To Grow By
It's an fascinating feeling when for the first time in your life, you know what it's like to be poor and cheap. I've become totally used to this lifestyle over the past three years and although it's not convenient, I've learned some useful lessons from it. I've learned what it feels like to live with barely enough money. I've learned what it's like to not be able to manage the most basic things such as groceries, gas, a cup of coffee in the morning, or even a bus ride. I've learned to take charity from others with the hope that one day I can pay them back or pay it forward. I've learned how to stretch a dollar as far as it can possibly go. And last but not least, I've learned how fabulous it feels to receive a Bath Gift Basket package, no matter what's inside it, from people who cares about you. A bath gifts baskets for a woman filled with high quality bath gel, body scrub, lotion and more. Perfect gift for a woman. Pamper her gifts for a her birthday. Bath basket with high quality soap, lotions, candles in our bath gift bath basket, gift basket for a woman, soap basket As you may have already guessed, I am a college student. Although we students have a reputation for partying, most of my friends and I work hard to play hard. We go to school full time, work one to two jobs, and try to earn enough money to pay the bills and still go out and forget some of the pressure of our day to day lives. I remember when I first moved away from home, my mom took me clothes shopping and I told her that would be the last time she would ever need to buy me clothes. I was certain that I would become thoroughly independent over night and somehow work hard enough to maintain the same level of affluence that I had become used to. My mom recognized how wrong I was, but I didn't come to realize the truth until eight months later. My mom phoned me up and asked me if she could take me out shopping. I hadn't asked her for any support, but somehow, as is general with mothers, she just knew. I concluded that no matter how desperately I wanted to be self-sufficient, I could not turn down her offer, so I thanked her profusely and we went shopping a few days later. When I moved away to Rhode Island a year ago, I was definitely completely on my own for the very first time. I was somewhat scared, I missed my friends and family, and I was working every single day but still living from pay check to pay check. One day a gift box arrived from. It was stuffed full of baked goods, fruit and nut bars, assorted nuts, coffee, chocolate, and all sorts of other snacks. The gift was from my mom and dad to say they loved me and missed me. The surprise of getting something from my family put a smile on my face that lasted during the entire day. It's amazing what a modest but thoughtful gesture can do to pick you up when you're having difficulties to get by. http://www.basketsbyrita.com http://www.basketsbyrita.com/Bath-Gift-Basket_p_89.html

Welcome Presents from home
Presents from home Gifts When I was a young girl my parents would send me off to camp for the summer. The one thing I looked forward to more than letters from home was a care package from my parents. Some campers got a care package each week packed with junk food, random stuff that would make us laugh, and pictures. Even though I did not receive a package every week like some of the luckier campers, I valued the packages I got more because they were more unexpected and much better made. Since my mother owns a gift basket business, my care packages were never casually tossed into a cardboard box, but instead were presented in a beautiful basket wrapped in bows. Not only was the appearance exceptional, but my mom's company has access to products which you can't buy off the shelves in your local discount store. My packages were filled to the top with gourmet delights including obscure brands of fruit and nut bars, cookies and biscuits, all the best chocolates, rum balls, and snack mixes. I would always share my baskets with my friends and for years after, my camp friends would ask me where my mom had found specific delicacies that they had only ever found in the contents of my camp care packages. Two months ago I moved across the country for school after twenty one years of living nearby my parents. Although real homesickness hasn't set in yet, it has been hard being apart from my friends and family and there are times which are harder than others. A week or so ago I was delivered a surprise package. I tore the box open to find a gift basket much like the ones my mom used to send me at camp. It included 'energy' jelly beans, fruit and nut mix, gourmet chocolate bars and cookies, some of the best granola bars I've ever eaten in my life, and my bike bell which I had left behind at my parents' house. It was the most welcome taste of home I could have hoped for and it reminded me that no matter how far from home you are, your family is always there to think of you. It was the best surprise I've had in a while and it reminded me that my family is proud of my endeavors and ambitions. As you get ready to send your student back to school this school year, think of the little things you can do to remind them that you care for them. Visit Baskets By Rita's website to see our assortment of care packages including our Gourmet Comfort Food Basket which is the perfect gift for you to tell your student how proud you are of them. June Dad's Day
I can't believe that Father's Day has officially only been around since 1972. It took 4 presidents and a Maine senator to eventually make it an official holiday. Mother’s Day had been around for roughly 60 years by then. Sonora Smart was the first person to recommend Father’s Day to honor her Father who was left to raise his 6 children when his wife died giving birth to their 6th child. It was then recommended to complement Mother’s day in celebrating fatherhood and male parenting. Nowadays Father's Day is celebrated on a range of dates around the globe and typically involves giving gifts, amazing dinners to dads, and family-focused activities. To help in support of Father’s day young members of the YMCA went to church sporting a rose: a red rose to honor a living father, and a white rose to celebrate a deceased one. Perhaps surprisingly enough Father's Day was at risk of disappearing from the calendar while Mother's Day was met with excitement, Father's Day was often met with snickering. Not all dads are exactly alike! OK, so you’re thinking what in the world can I obtain my dad for Father’s day? I don’t live at home any more and have no idea what he wants. You aren’t really considering purchasing a gift card to Lowe’s or Home Depot are you? That’s about as personal as a another wool sweater. ou may not live at home any more, but you probably have a good idea of what your father enjoys – is he a beer fan? A chocolate lover? How about a wine fan? I’ve found out that on the web there are a lot of gift that men would definitely like for a present that are not difficult to order. I know, maybe you always thought “baskets” were for women, but once you take a look at a beer tub, you will have a new opinion. If your dad’s personal preferences are for wine, you’ll notice that they can be shipped not only a fine wine of your choice, but also a very good set of complementary foods that make a very nice package. These gift baskets for a father would be the perfect gift for dear old dad on Fathers day. So let’s say your dad is a soda drinker and he is also a big nut fan. All you need to do is order BV Cabernet Red Wine Gift Basket for a guy that fits the bill. The most important part of the whole gift is your message on the card attached so be heart-felt. Some on-line gift baskets companies will even custom design that gift basket to really fit your dad’s desires. http://www.basketsbyrita.com http://www.basketsbyrita.com/BV-Cabernet-Red-Wine-Gift-Basket_p_133.html http://www.twitter.com/basketsbyrita http://www.facebook.com/basketsbyrita

Send An At home spa treatment
A full week of work and courses leaves me ready to take a load off and take it easy when the weekend comes. But we all know that the probability of me planning a weekend full of spa like treatment and peace and quiet is hardly probable. Though I’m not working I always end up with a number of errands that’s piled up throughout the week, a house to clean, and a variety of other miscellaneous tasks that slip themselves into my schedule somehow. While I might be able to talk someone into giving me a five minute back rub, I doubt I’ll have time for a facial and a bubble bath. In our world where we live such hectic lives, it is close to impossible to steal away for an hour or two let alone a full day to just put aside our busy lives and take a little ‘me’ time. Where I can possibly schedule in a chiropractor’s appointment or a waxing appointment once a month, it’s not quite enough to make me feel that I’ve completely pampered myself. When an occasion or a birthday comes around and someone asks me what I want, the first thing that comes to mind is “gift cards” or “a new pair of scissors.” Even though these might be reasonable presents, they are necessities and giving these essentials doesn’t require much thought. A gift should be something you want, not a thing you need. At times we forget our own value and we need a friend to step in and remind us to spend some time on our self. A gift should persuade you to take care of yourself, not help you run yourself further into the ground. Even though I can say I wouldn’t have much spare time to make a spa appointment even if I was given a gift card, I know a few home remedies that will do the trick almost as well. When I find a friend has been working too much and needs a break, I order them a spa basket from Baskets By Rita to tell them to put aside a bit of time for their self. Baskets By Rita packs their baskets full of high quality spa products for an all inclusive, at home full body treatment.
